Genshin Impact Next Banner: Hu Tao’s Banner Release Date

As a gacha based roleplaying game, Genshin Impact releases new banners every now and then. The game generally introduces two new character event wish banners, and the weapon banners(Epitome Invocation), with every major update. So, most of the time, players have a common question in their mind. What is Genshin Impact’s next banner?. And, with today’s article we are going to talk about the current Genshin Impact banner, and the next banner that will release in a week or so.

Currently, we have Keqing’s event wish banner in Genshin Impact. Prior to that we had Xiao’s banner, that was introduced in the game with Genshin Impact 1.3 update. Every Genshin Impact banner last for 21 days, that is three weeks. Furthermore, every Genshin Impact update lasts for six weeks.

We were expecting Xiao and Hu Tao’s banner with Genshin Impact 1.3 update. While Xiao’s banner and the new polearm weapon that Hu Tao was using in some of the leaked images – Staff of Homa was confirmed to come out with Genshin Impact 1.3 update, Hu Tao’s release was still unknown. And, as we moved close to the update release date, we came to know that Keqing’s event wish banner is the second character banner for Genshin Impact 1.3 update.

However, this time around, for the very first time, Genshin Impact’s event wish banners were only two weeks long. Furthermore, we came to know that Hu Tao’s banner was delayed because of the Chinese New Year and it will release in Genshin Impact’s 1.3 update, as the third event wish banner.

Hu Tao’s Banner Release Date

We don’t have official confirmation on Hu Tao’s banner delay. Whether it was delayed because of the Chinese New Year or because of any development reason – that is still unknown. However, it is highly likely that Genshin Impact’s next banner is going to be of Hu Tao’s.

Hu Tao’s character event wish banner is already leaked, alongside the four-star characters which are going to be featured in the same banner.

Most probably, Hu Tao’s banner in Genshin Impact will release on March 2, 2021, after Keqing’s banner, and it will last for two weeks.
