There are five different variants of Key Sigils that you will come across while exploring Enkanomiya. Each of them opens a respective seal that again you will find all around Enkanomiya.
Long story short, you need the Key Sigil if you don’t want to halt your exploration and puzzle-solving in the different areas of Enkanomiya.

The new area, Enkanomiya, is divided into five sections, namely The Narrows, Dainichi Mikoshi, Evernight Temple, The Serpent’s Heart, and The Serpent’s Bowel.
