Genshin Impact: Hu Tao’s Story Quest and Domain Puzzles Guide

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play mobile RPG. Like lots of other free-to-play games, it has Microtransactions and a very popular and all-known Gacha system. Through this Gacha, you will be able to obtain different characters and items.

The game is mostly based on your character collection and you might want to know something about the people you are trying to get to your roster. To do these you may complete some quest connected to these characters. This guide will explain to you one of those, The Story Quest of Hu Tao. There are some puzzles that a player might have problems with solving.

Hu Tao’s Story Quest in Genshin Impact

Like other Story Quests, Hu Tao’s Story Quest in Genshin Impact includes a lot of walking back and forth.

There are tasks for the first part:

• Go to Wuwang Hill and talk to the undertaker. Hu Tao will be there as the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor’s director.
• Travel to Liyue Harbor. Talk to three NPCs in the area.
• Examine the locations marked on your map after speaking with Hu Tao.

These tasks are for the second part:

• Go to the exorcism site. There you will need to fight against hilichurls and mitachurls.
• Talk to the ghost of Big G and return to Liyue Harbor.
• Go to the marked location in the dockyards and find Plaustrite Shard. Bring it on of the NPC and Jueyun Chili to another one.

These are for the third part with the domain itself:

• Meet with Hu Tao at Wuwang Hill and enter the domain.
• You’ll be able to use Hu Tao here. Her abilities help burn the vines blocking your path.
• There are stone puzzles inside the Domain. Make sure you turn your camera around until the symbols are activated.

Hu Tao’s Story Quest Domain Puzzles in Genshin Impact

There is an area with a stone puzzle and a soul orb behind nearby vines.

Get the symbol activated to open a path. Grab the soul orb and go through the room. Take the second soul orb here. Place two soul orbs on the pedestals.

In the section with the next puzzle, grab the blue orb, then go through the web.

You will need to swim until you reach the next area. This will lead you to the previous zone. But, this time, another orb will be there. After you picked up two orbs go to the pedestals. In the last section, you will need to talk to some NPCs. After a chat with Hu Tao, a chest and exit will be spawned. Once you returned to Wuwang Hill, speak with Hu Tao once more to finish Story Quest.
