This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Fans of Sonic The Hedgehog have quite a lot to look forward to. Not only the new Nintendo exclusive games Wii U and 3DS Sonic Boom games are coming later this year in the West but also a new platform game is coming on iOS in the very near future.

We’re talking about the recently announced Sonic Jump Fever. The game is based on the Sonic Jump gameplay experience but introduces a few twists that will make the whole experience feel fresh and engaging.

The main difference with the original game is that you will be constantly challenging other games, where score is the only thing that truly matters. As you keep going higher, jumping from one platform to another, you will be able to pull off combos that increase your total score. Several upgrades will help you get higher in the game and obtain a better score.

It really wouldn’t be a Sonic game with some really high speed. The new Fever mode, which is activated by obtaining a lot of points, will allow you to increase your speed and get higher more quickly.

Sonic Jump Fever launches this Summer on the App Store. We’ll let you know more about the release date as soon as more news come in on the matter so stay tuned for all the latest updates.
