The Call of Duty series is one of the most popular gaming franchises, and requires no introduction even to mobile players, as plenty of games based on the series have been released on iOS and Android in the past.
None of these games, however, played like the PC and console games, but finally, a true mobile entry in the series is coming soon to smart devices: Call of Duty Mobile.
Activision has finally confirmed when Call of Duty Mobile will be released on the App Store and Google Play Store. According to the publisher, the free to play game developed by Tencent will be available on both digital stores on October 1st.

Call of Duty Mobile is a proper entry in the Call of Duty series, and it will be a feature-rich game that will be expanded following release with new content and play modes.
At launch, the game will feature a now obligatory Battle Royale mode, where 100 players will compete to see the best, as well as other popular multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Gun Game.
In terms of maps, Call of Duty Mobile will make long-time fans of the series happy, as there will be maps featured in the Modern Warfare and Black Ops series.
The Battle Royale mode map will also bring back some of the series typical locations, which will allow players to devise strategies to survive and stay ahead of the competition.
Call of Duty Mobile will be released worldwide on iOS and Android on October 1st.
