The much-awaited OB25 update for the Garena Free Fire is around the corner. As always, the update will include a ton of changes and exciting additions to enhance the players’ overall gaming experience significantly.
While the patch notes of the Free Fire OB25 haven’t been revealed yet, players can expect the introduction of a new pet, character, and Bermuda remastered map. To celebrate and announce the upcoming update, the company published various teasers, followed by its official release date.
Free Fire OB25 update release date
As announced officially, the upcoming Free Fire OB25 update will be released globally on December 7, 2020 and it will be entitled as Operation Chrono.
The official announcement post reads the following:
Take a peek at some of the cool changes that will happen in-game soon. Basked in the chromatic display of environment and its neon lights… 🚦 One can only wonder why this project is top secret. A new legend is yet to be introduced… a new world will take over soon. Operation Chrono will be ready to be deployed on the 7th of December.
Beyond this, the leaks that surfaced on the internet also suggest the entry of a new character called Chrono, whose unique ability is the Time-Turner. With the help of its active skill, players will be able to form a force field that will keep them safe from the opponents’ damage.

In addition to this, a new SMG weapon – Vector has also been spotted in the Free Fire Advance Server. For unaware, Vector was introduced in one of the previous updates of the game.
However, due to its imbalanced mechanism, it was removed from the Free Fire a long time ago. But now, the developers are most likely to bring the Vector back to the pool of weapons with the release of the Free Fire OB25 update.
In a massive content drop and major update, the Garena Free Fire OB25 patch looks to add a plethora of new features that are entirely beyond everyone’s expectations.
