Epic Games has recently deployed a hotfix for Fortnite that brings back the vaulted weapon known as the Machine Pistol to the game. Following countless stats adjustments, players can finally lay their hands on Machine Pistol in Fortnite Battle Royale and Creative mode.
After the latest patch, Epic Games has escalated the weapon’s damage for the close combats. On top of that, Machine Pistol is effective at longer ranges too, as long as players are firing at shorter bursts to maintain accuracy.
For this reason, the mechanics of this gun is quite similar to TEC-9 Machine Pistol and some other rapid-firing sub-machine guns. In addition to this, the developers have increased the magazine size for slightly more sustained fire.
Fortnite Machine Pistol Stats
For the stats counterpart, here are the expected values of Machine Pistol’s damage rate, magazine size, fire rate, and reload time:
- Damage: 15-19
- Magazine size: 35
- Fire rate: 13.5
- Reload time: 2.475-2.025
As we’ve mentioned earlier, Machine Pistol is now available in Fortnite’s Battle Royale and Creative mode. However, it is not included in competitive playlists but is subject to an evaluation period.
Machine Pistol can be found in normal Chests, Rare Chests, and Supply Drops, and from fishing and sharks.
