Eventually you will move out into the open ocean, and even collect fish from the bottom of the ocean! Collect all the bubbles!

When you come back from idling for a long time, the bubbles will become active again. Remember that these bubbles temporarily increase the amount of cash you gain more tapping, so be sure that the bubble buff is enabled whenever possible.

There is also a permanent upgrade that increase the multiplier on the bubbles, so you can get even more cash from fish! You should get this upgrade as soon as possible.

Upgrade your employees!

Once you reach a certain point in the game, you will gain an employee. The employee will fish for you as you are away from the game, increasing your idle profits.

You can upgrade your employees to earn you more cash when you are away, but you can also upgrade them to potentially earn fish for you! Fish are great for unlocking more powerful upgrades, so you are going to want as many of them as possible.

Travel as much as you can!

After you unlock your first employee, you will gain access to the transport ship. This is your personal ship, and you can use it to ferry goods across the ocean. Sellers will pay your for your services, so the transport ship should always be in use.

Travelling with the transport ship will immediately grant you a hefty sum of money, and before you can use it again you must wait for the ship to come off of cooldown.

Pay attention for fish!

When you are actively playing the game, make sure that you are not just wildly tapping the screen. Sometimes when you hook a fish, the meter will appear and you need to tap on the meter in order to catch the fish. You need lots of fish to unlock the later upgrades, so make sure you do not miss out on them!

Change fishing places once you can!

Activating prestige in this game works a little differently than other idle games. You can prestige as soon as it is available, and doing so will do the usual stuff: your basic upgrades will be reset back to zero, but your overall profit gain will increase permanently, and also the maximum level cap will increase on most basic upgrades. You should prestige as soon as you are able to.
