How to Disable Spell Effects in FFXIV

FFXIV is an exciting MMO with lots of different classes that you can play. All of these characters have various skills with beautiful effects. However, when there are too many fighting players on the screen the game becomes too chaotic.

In order to fight different enemies, players have to use their skills. Sometimes the number of players is too big and in this case, you won’t be able to see properly because of various colorful magic effects. So, you may want to know how to disable all these graphics and we are going to help you.

In order to disable spell effects in FFXIV, you will need to open the settings menu. Here is the list of steps you should follow to turn off these effects:

Open the Settings menu.
Open the Character Configuration tab.
Click on the Character button.
Search for the Battle Effects Settings line.
Customize your Battle Effects Settings and disable the ones you don’t find necessary.

If you find this tab in your settings menu you will be able to customize spell effects generated by your character, your party members, and other creatures. You can lower these effects or disable them but we don’t recommend you turn them off completely. If you disable all of these effects you won’t be able to see magic spells and it may cause some problems in combat.
