In our Farmers.io tips and tricks guide, we will go over all the of the different techniques and strategies to help you get the most hay bales. Ready to jump into your tractor? Let’s get started with our Farmers.io cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide to outfarming the competition!

Drive over crops to create hay bales!

Welcome to Farmers.io! To win a match, you must be the player who creates the most hay bales, and this is done by driving over crops. As you run over crops, your tractor will automatically process them into hay bales. You can tell how much of the field you have processed by the percentage over your tractor.

This is your main objective and you should not stray from it. You cannot attack others in any direct manner, so do not worry about that. Just focus on the crops and you should come out on top!

Level up to go faster!

Above your tractor is the percentage of the farm you have claimed for yourself. Below the percentage is a meter that fills up whenever you get some crops, and when it fills up all the way, your tractor will level up!

Leveling up will cause your tractor to get a little bigger, and you will travel a lot faster as well. When you level up, your experience meter will empty, and you will have to refill it again to level up once more. Leveling up a lot is the key to eating lots of crops in a short time!

Trap others with your trail of hay bales!

As you collect more and more hay bales, more carts will be added to your tractor. They will trail behind you wherever you go, and you must take caution not to accidentally run into them or any one else’s trail, for you will explode!

But with this knowledge, you might just be able to turn this into technique to use against your foes! Once you have a really long trail behind you, start approaching your opponents. If you see them get close to a corner or wall, try to box them in.

If you are fast enough and you are long enough, your opponent will be trapped and they will have no where to go, resulting in their explosion!

Collect others’ hay bales!

Whether caused by you or another player, whenever a player’s tractor explodes, they will drop ALL of their hay bales. The hay bales will be scattered around, and anyone who runs into them will pick them up.

If you see two players trying to dogfight with each other, hang around as you might get the chance to act like a vulture and swoop in to reap the benefits! Let other players duke it out and collect the spoils afterwards.

Always be on the lookout for other hay bales just lying around, as they are quick and easy way to increase your percentage.

Collect the required amount of crops to move on!

When you unlock the second farm, you will notice that there are now two types of crop: corn and wheat. To unlock the third farm, you will need to collect both types of hay bales. If you collect one and not enough of the other, you will not be able to proceed.

To avoid this from happening, try to make it your objective to collect the two crops evenly. Do not just go for one, even if it will help you win, as it will hurt you in the long run.

Do not worry about exploding!

If you end up crashing into another player, do not worry about it – your collected bales are still tallied up at the end of the match and will count towards your next farm unlock. Just pick yourself back up and head into the farm when you are ready!

Remember that at the end of the day it is not who is the last tractor standing but more so the amount of hay bales you have at the end of the match.

You do not have to be perfect with the crop trimming!

For the completionists out there, you may feel a little annoyed when you leave a little bit of crop left over because your tractor was not perfectly aligned. When this happens, don’t sweat it – it is much more important to get the big chunks of crops rather than trying to get every little last bit.

If you spend too much time trying to clear as much of the farm as possible, you might end up wasting a lot of time with little to show for it. So, just go for the big chunks! As a side note, you do not explode when you collide with walls, so you can take big wide turns if necessary.

Keep attacking opponents for hay bales!

Even if you take out another player and collect their hay bales, they will respawn into the game with a new tractor. The match truly does not end until YOU are the one who explodes, so if you want, you can continue to go after opponents until you get all the hay bales you need. It’s a winning strategy!
