Eternal Cannon Incremental is simple and easy to pick up, just like most idle games are, but there are still some things to cover. Let’s get started with our Eternal Cannon Incremental cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Use your skills wisely!

Once your tower levels up enough, you will begin to unlock skills. These skills are powerful abilities that can turn the tide of battle. The Fire skill can wipe out a horde of weaker enemies, while the Ice skill can buy your precious time. There is a skill for everything, so make sure you use them often!

Every time you use a skill, it will cost mana and the skill will need to cooldown before it can be used again. Your mana cap starts at 100, and it will slowly regenerate over time. Skill costs can range anywhere between 5 to 50 mana, so this means you will need to time your skills wisely.

Complete your tasks!

You will always have three active tasks at any given time, and they can be accessed by tapping the little clipboard button at the top right. Completing a task rewards you with precious gems, and the harder tasks will even reward you with red gems, the gems that are exclusive to prestige. Try to do as many of these as you can, as gems are a big help to cover certain costs.

Do not neglect your defense!

If you are going to be playing this game mainly in idle mode, it is important that you upgrade your defenses as much as you upgrade your attack modules. Your wall will eventually start getting hit, so you will need the HP and defense to hold until your cannon can take out all of the cubes. Your defense multiplier is important as it will reduce all incoming damage, and the block chance is incredibly helpful once you research it.

Prestige whenever you want!

Activating prestige in this game will reset your cannon to zero while granting you a permanent damage boost, red diamonds, and starting gold for your next run. The farther you are, the more you will receive of each respective boost. You can prestige for the first time whenever you hit wave 60.

Prestige in this game helps a LOT – that damage boost that you get is actually very significant, and it will help each successive run go faster and faster with each prestige. That is why we cannot really recommend an optimal time to prestige, as the damage boost is just too good!

Rate of Fire is an important upgrade!

Rate of Fire is the second attack upgrade you unlock, and it is perhaps the most important. Its price ramps up fairly early on, and for good reason – each upgrade grants a significant firing rate boost to your cannon. It is important to upgrade this as much as possible in order to get most out of the cannon, especially if you are playing mostly idle.
