Dunk Line is an incredibly addictive basketball drawing game created by Ketchapp. You could definitely do better with some Dunk Line cheats and tips, and that’s exactly what we’re here to share with you today.
This game is deceptively simple: all you have to do is draw lines and guide falling basketballs to the basket. But once you get there, multiple balls are involved, bombs are thrown into the mix and gravity becomes your enemy, things get a lot more complicated.
It’s true that you ability to score high in Dunk Line is mostly based on your skill and a bit on your luck, but having some strategy doesn’t hurt either. And we’re talking about it all below, so read on for some Dunk Line tips and tricks.
Draw lines starting from the rim
When you’re starting to play the game, you’re tempted to draw the lines from the outside – maybe the area where you estimate the ball to get – all the way to the rim.
However, if you do it the other way around, you’re sure you’re getting where you’re supposed to. So practice a little bit and learn to draw them from the rim upwards or sideways in order to always make sure that you get perfect lines that result in a basket.
Draw long lines, a bit under the rim
Another secret is to draw the lines a bit under the rim, like in the screenshot below:
This way, your ball has very small chances (if any) to bounce away or over the basket. This is extremely useful when you’re dealing with rims without a backboard where the ball tends to just pass on to the other side.
Also, you should make sure to draw lines that are as long as possible and curved in order to make sure that you get the ball fall in place and it also doesn’t get to high speeds in order to miss the mark.
Don’t be afraid to use all your lines
If you want to keep things extra secure, why not use all the lines you have? You can draw more than one line and if you’re fast enough you can create a virtual backboard behind the rim to make sure that you always score.
This technique takes a bit of practice, but once you get used to this, you’ll become unstoppable. Unless there’s a bomb involved – in which case, even if it gets on your line, you can quickly draw another to stop it from reaching your basket!
Keep an eye on exclamation marks
The exclamation marks at the bottom of the screen show you where from will new balls (and potentially bombs) will be launched. It’s always good to train your eyes to be aware of those positions. Not necessarily for knowing where to start drawing the lines, but to anticipate the number of balls and potential obstacles incoming.
Watch ads to keep on going
If you’re on a good run and you’re about to break your high score (or already did so), don’t hesitate to watch a short video ad to keep on going. This gives you the chance to score much higher and you’re also getting the chance to play more!
I know that’s not a lot that I can help you with, but hopefully you developed some better drawing skills and you’ll perform better in the game at the end of the day. If you have additional Dunk Line tips and tricks for fellow players, don’t hesitate to let us know by commenting below.
