The popular 1987 retro side-scrolling beat-em-up arcade game series Double Dragon is getting not one but three new iOS ports thanks to the recently announced Double Dragon Trilogy mobile compilation.
The compilation will include the original Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: Rosetta Stone. Each game will feature two modes; the classic arcade mode where players strive to earn the highest score possible, and a Story-based mode in which players can earn achievements and unlock new stages by progressing through the story campaign. The mobile Double Dragon Trilogy compilation will also include leaderboards, three difficulty levels, Bluetooth-enabled co-op, customizable controls, and gamepad support.
Sadly no release date or pricing info for the compilation is available at this time but a new trailer to commemorate the announcement can be watched below. The Double Dragon Trilogy compilation will be available on both iPad and iPhone when it launches.
