Desktop Dungeons Launching On The App Store Later This Week

A new roguelike game is going to be released later this week on the App Store, a game that those who also play on PC have already been able to enjoy.

The new game is Desktop Dungeons, developed by QCF Designs. The iOS version of the game is going to be a perfect port of the PC version, coming with the same features of the original release as well as all the new classes that have been added to the game by the Enhanced Edition. If you have the PC version of the game and want to play Desktop Dungeons on the go with the same save file, you will also be able to do so thanks to the game’s cross-platform features. Desktop Dungeons iOS will also feature an optimized interface so we should expect the game to play rather nicely with touch controls.

Desktop Dungeons will be released on the App Store on May 28th. The game will be released as a premium title without IAPs so you will be getting the full experience once you purchase the game. Final pricing has yet to be confirmed but we will surely hear more about it in the next few days.
