1. Follow the task book!

The task book will show you quests that you should be working towards at all times. If you’re ever unsure of what to do next, just take a look in the task book! Completing these tasks will reward you with experience and coins, and they will also lead you down the general progression route. This ensures that your castle’s furnishings are all up-to-date.

2. Cut down those trees!

The royal forest hosts only the finest trees! You can find them near your castle plot. Whenever you’re low on wood, you can rapidly tap on trees here to cut them down. Even if you’re not currently low, you should try to get into the habit of cutting them down the moment you see they are ready. Here’s another a tip: you don’t have to stop and tap the pile of wood to collect it. If left on the ground for a couple of seconds, the game will automatically collect it for you. Just chop down as many as you want, then go back to replant saplings.

3. Buy the high prestige furniture!

Each piece of furniture has crowns on it. This is “prestige”. The higher the prestige is, the more gold that piece of furniture will generate over time. Generally, the higher prestige items cost more, but you should always try to buy them because they will give you more gold in the long run!

4. Always have a trade active!

Upon reaching level 3, you unlock the trading post for your castle. Here, you can send out merchants to perform trades for you. You get to pick how long the trade will take; the longer the merchant takes to complete the trade, the more gold you’ll earn. One thing to keep in mind though is the fee. The longer trades have an initial fee you have to pay before the merchant departs. With that said, try to always have a trade active. If you’re actively playing the game a lot, try the shorter trades. If you’re going to be away for a while, try a long trade!

5. Don’t build the rooms too big!

Contrary to what the tutorial makes you do, you should try not to make your rooms too big. You can increase their size when you’re plotting them down, but for every space the room extends its total gold price goes up. Try to plan out how much furniture you’re going to put into the room and build accordingly. Wasted space is just a waste of gold, so remember not to make the rooms too big!

  1. I have redesigned where the various rooms are multiple times and have lost items in the rooms. Is there a list of the tasks available so I can replace items that have been taken out?
