In our article today we are going to tell you all the Critter Clash tips and tricks that we have gathered so far in order to help you defeat all the opponents and become one of the best players!

This game is one of the most fun games that I have played in a long while, and not only because of the funny animations and characters, but also because of the great play style, which truly shows who can think things through rather than just gear up and fight and pray for a good result.

So that makes it not only fun, but also kind of an against the clock strategic game, because you will have to discover the enemy’s weak spots and abuse them. But enough with the praises now, let’s dive into the Critter Clash tips and tricks right here below!

Upgrade your monkeys!

And not just the monkeys, but all of the animals that you get! Whenever you unlock a new animal by opening a chest or whenever you acquire some extra shards of the same animal, always make sure you upgrade them.

The upgrade costs that animal’s fragments and bananas, but it is definitely worth doing it, because not only will your team get more powerful, but you will also have more fun because you will take down the enemy much, much faster (and you can see their reaction in real time).

Learn what each animals’ strengths and weaknesses are

This goes without saying, but for the animals that are in your team (at least) you should learn what each of their skills do, so that you will know how and when to use them to get the best effect when attacking the enemy.

I really think that once you know how to hit the enemy’s branches and heroes right will lead you to reach the top, so if you want to compete against other people from all around the world, then you need to learn. Learn the skills!

Complete Achievements for goodies and rewards!

When you are on the main menu window and you swipe left, you will be taken to the menu on the right side (makes sense, right? Swipe left, you go right and swipe right, you go left). There you will see a menu “Achievements”. Tap on the monkey statue and you will see a list of tasks that you should complete in order to gain some really nice rewards.

I suggest taking a look at the achievements beforehand so you know what tasks you need to complete, because they are a really easy way to get bananas and other goodies.

Watch an ad for bananas!

After each PvP game you play you will see on the bottom side of the screen a button which will allow you to get some free bananas for simply watching an ad! I suggest doing this whenever you need some extra bananas, but not always, unless you have the patience to go through endless streams of ads!

Complete the Tasks

On the same window as the Achievements you will see the Tasks menu, where you will receive daily missions. It’s something like daily quests, which refresh every few hours, so even once completed, you can still do more if you come back after a while.

They are another good way of gathering resources and currency, so I definitely suggest completing them as many times as you see them available.

Open chests and shorten their time

After every PvP match you will receive a chest which contains tons of goodies, from heroes to branches and ropes. In the post game lobby you will also see that if you choose to watch an ad, and the box slots on the bottom of your screen are full, you can replace one of the boxes with another (hopefully better) one.

Another thing you should do when it comes to the chests, is to watch an advertisement to shorten their time. You can watch a maximum of 6 ads per box, so keep that in mind! Especially when you want to open the Rare Chests which take 8 hours to open!

Refer to a friend and gain more chests

This is one amazing option that will allow you to collect even more rewards. Whenever you refer a friend (have a friend install the game using the link you sent them) you will receive some amazing boxes which give you amazing goodies! So if you have friends who want to play, have them use your link!

Use your Fire Stones to buy chests

There are 3 types of chests (the ones that you purchase / referral) and they can give you either Super Rare heroes or Ultra Rare heroes, depending on which you choose. The Referral chest will give you heroes, bananas and Fire Stones, but now we are going to focus on the other ones.

I suggest that you save your Fire Stones to purchase the 6x Legendary Chests which cost 1620 Fire Stones, because they have a higher chance to give you Ultra Rare (UR) heroes. That’s definitely worth it, because a single chest costs 300 Fire Stones, so you can save a little!

Check the Daily Deals

You should always take a look at the store to see all the available daily deals, because they refresh several times a day, bringing new stuff to the counter! There you can find upgrades for anything, from heroes to branches.

It is definitely worth taking a look there, and if you see something that you can use to either make upgrades or purchase something new and powerful, then buy it!

Open the Mystic Vision Chest!

On top of the Shop interface on the main screen, you will see a tiny pink gift box. Tap on it and you will see that once you watch an ad, you will receive 20x Diamonds! If you are a free player, you should definitely do this because you will find a good use for them!

Play the Adventure Mode to practice your techniques

Before going too much in the PvP matches, you should form several teams and try out different team compositions. The best way for you to get the best rewards out of everything would be to practice, but not in the Practice Mode – in the Adventure Mode!

There you can learn how your teams’ skills work as well as complete the stages from the “main questline”.
