If the recently launched Pokemon Go has turned on the switch that makes you want to collect them all, then you will probably enjoy Combo Critters a lot since it also challenges you to collect funnily-named monsters, battle against others and combine them to get even better monsters for better fighting results. 1. It’s all about collecting them all!
I am sure this sounds familiar, but your main goal is to try and collect as many critters as possible, so don’t shy out of any fight. However, don’t spend money to increase your chances for capturing a critter if they don’t actually increase by a lot. In other words, spending coins to increase chances from 10% to 30% makes little sense, especially early on when you will need all the coins for combining the critters and upgrading them.

2. Pick the right enemies
The good thing about the game is that it allows you to get around and ignore specific enemies if you don’t want to fight them. And some might be overpowered, so it’s a good idea to avoid them. You will know if an enemy is definitely weaker than you if they start running away from you when you get in their range – that’s the type of enemy you want to take on and attack as much as possible in order to get coins and collect extra critters.

3. Watch the ads for coins
You will always be in the hunt for extra coins as you will need more and more to heal your critters and combine them, so make sure that you take advantage of the video ads the game offers you and watch them for some quick free coins.

4. Heal your critters smartly
Don’t rush to heal your critters as soon as the are dealt some damage! As long as they can survive a battle without a problem don’t heal them, especially if there is a chance that you can combine them with another critter. Combining a a critter with 1 health left has the same effect as combining the same type with full health, so you save some extra money if you don’t heal them immediately and then combine them for a better monster.

5. Check out the results
Sometimes, you can combine two critters and get a resulting critter that’s not better than one of the ones you combine. This happens because the game offers multiple possible combinations for getting the same result, and some are not as good as others. Always look at the resulting critter following a combination and only make it happen if you are satisfied with the result. If not, simply replace one of the critters and try again – eventually, you will get something good.

6. Grind on completed levels
If you hit the wall and every enemy that you meed in Combo Critters is too difficult for you to defeat – or you want to collect all the critters available in a specific world, reply that world over and over again. Battles will be extremely simple so chances are that you won’t lose any health, so you will only have stuff to win: coins from the battles as well as critters for your collection. Do this over and over again until you have enough coins to get better critters and defeat the enemies you weren’t able to before.
