COD Mobile Championship 2022 Roadmap Released: Circuit Details and More

Activation has released its Roadmap for the 2022 Call of Duty: Mobile Championship. The competition offers participants a prize money of over $2 million and in addition to sending out invitations to players of all levels to participate, Activision has released the 2022 calender for Call of Duty Mobile eSports.

So In this article we’ll be detailing the events Roadmap as well as other important details about the 2022 championship.

When will the event kick-off?

This year’s event will kick-off on March 31st. Stage One will commence with four online qualifiers, which can be accessed within the same game. There will also be editions that will be held every weekend, and will come to a close on April 24th. Afterwards, several players will be selected to move forward to Stage Two.

For a player to advance to the next stage, they must first complete up to 10 ranked matche in multiplayer mode and earn a minimum of 60 points. Additionally, all players who give the present will receive exclusive items within the client.

Team event and regional qualifiers

Team events will commence in June and the circuit will take place in the regional qualifiers. In August, the regional playoffs will arrive with official broadcasts to follow all the action via YouTube. Up to five zones are involved in the circuit which are: North America, Japan, Europe, India and Latin America.

Then in December, it’ll be time for the face-to-face event where the best players in the world will have to compete. However, the headquarters for this event is being kept under wraps for now.

Matt Lewis, Activision’s Vice President of Mobile stated, “With all-new rewards and a prize pool of more than $2 million, everyone is invited to enjoy this year’s championships and we look forward to seeing who will be crowned victorious later this year.”

Mobile eSports has skyrocketed over the last couple of years and it has amassed followers through its major titles. The forthcoming event will see COD Mobile increase in popularity as well as total number of players.
