If you would like to know how to further boost your Empire, then our article will help you get a better understanding of the stats the Lions brings to the Empire and how you should change them depending on what you are currently doing in the game.

So let’s not waste another moment and dive right into the Clash of Empires Lions guide to show you everything you need to know about those mighty beasts!

Gentle Lion

This is the Lion your empire has by default, and it is not even PvE (kinda) because it won’t affect the stats versus monsters; this lion won’t help you with anything other than pure gathering boosts.

It is good for when you are just getting started or are looking to improve your resources quickly.

Bonus

– Food Gather Speed

– Wood Gather Speed

– Iron Gather Speed

Energetic Lion

This Lion is great in PvE instances when you decide to go on the World Map and gather EXP by killing monsters throughout the lands. When you want to do this, make sure you choose the Energetic Lion because the bonuses are specially designed to help you in PvE encounters.

Bonus:

– Troop Attack vs Monsters

– Troop Defense vs Monsters

– Troop HP vs Monsters

Fierce Lion

When your Empire is defending against incoming attacks, this Lion will help your troops by boosting several stats and by increasing your defensive powers. In my opinion you should always select this Lion before closing the game and going to do something else because you never know when your kingdom might be under a surprise attack by some random enemy.

Bonus:

– Troop Attack when Defending

– Troop Defense when Defending

– Troop Health when Defending

Cruel Lion

A great Lion for when you head on to the World Map and got your eyes on another player’s Empire is this Cruel Lion. It will increase your troops’ stats overall and will benefit your whole army when making direct attacks and marching towards the enemy.

Bonus:

– Troop Attack

– Troop HP

– Troop Defense

Now that we have detailed on what each Lion does, let’s focus a little on how to upgrade them and make them a truly powerful addition to the empire. Each Lion is sharing the same stats and skills, so if you upgrade them once, the upgrades will stay no matter how many times you swap the Lions amongst themselves.

When you level up a Lion you will unlock Lion skills. Those skills are either Offensive or Defensive, so you can choose in which order you want them to level up.

Under the Assault Skill you will notice these

– March Speed (Neutral)

– Spearman Crit Rate (Offensive)

– Reduce Damage Received (Defensive)

– Heavy Cavalry Damage (Offensive)

– March Capacity (Neutral)

– Horse Archers Damage (Offensive)

– Revive (Neutral)

– Rams Health (Defensive)

– Crossbowmen Damage (Offensive)

– Siege Damage (Offensive)

– Archer Attack Speed (Offensive)

I suggest that you level up the skills in the order which is most fitting for your play style, as soon as you can, because they can be transferred among the Lions when you swap them and so you won’t have to collect stuff to level them up all over again.

These skills will unlock the more you level up the lion, and the more it levels up you will gain Free Lion EXP. From Levels 1 to 3 you get 3 Free Lion EXP, from Levels 4 to 6 you get 4 Free Lion EXP ad so on every 3 levels it keeps increasing by 1. Once your Lion reaches level 30 it will stay capped at 12 Free Lion EXP.

Always remember to use the items which boost your Lion from the inventory, because when you boost one Lion, you’re basically boosting all of them! So make sure you do your best to rank it up and make it strong.

Thus being said, I strongly suggest that you level up your buildings as much as possible and strengthen them as much as you can, because the Lion will benefit from that as well by allowing it to be upgraded further.
