Plan out your matches!

It’s important to keep in mind that the match timer does NOT start until you make the first match. This means that you can take all the time in the world planning out your next chain of matches.

Even if you see a potential match, don’t start it just yet – instead, scan the entire board for any other matches you might be able to make. Once you’ve spotted all possible matches, quickly match them all in succession. There’s no rush until you’ve made the first match!

Match enemy colors for double damage!

If you attack with food that matches the same color as the food baddies, your heroes will inflict double damage!

For example, if you’re going up against red enemies like French Fries, matching red tiles will double damage from those sources. If you want to clear out waves of enemies fast, you’ll need to master the tile advantage! And you want to do exactly that…

Get all stars for a gem chest!

Each level has three stars for you to obtain. To get all three stars, you’ll need to beat the level under a certain amount of turns. This means that you’ll need to chain combos and utilize the double damage color bonus as much as possible. Some levels are really lenient with the amount of turns you can take while others are strict, so you may need to replay certain levels.

If you can manage to get every single star in a chapter, you’ll be rewarded with a gem chest at the end. Gem chests contain a hefty amount of gems inside them, so they’re very much worth the trouble.

Save your gems for the Titan Chest!

You can spend your hard earned gems in the shop, where you can pick between two premium chests. The Magic Chest costs 800 gems and it has 15 spices, 25 hero tokens, 5 figurines, and 5,000 gold. The Magic Chest also has a x3 chance of dropping a rare figurine!

The Titan Chest costs a whopping 3,200 gems and it contains 60 spices, 100 hero tokens, 20 figurines, and 50,000 gold. It has a x5 chance for rare drops, but also a x3 chance for epic drops, making it the only way to obtain epic figurines. You’ll need to start saving now if you want the best heroes!

Upgrade your shops!

If you earn enough spices from the levels, you can spend them to upgrade your festival shops. Upgrading a shop increases its earnings, the amount of Eatmos it generates, and how long it stays open for business.

If you want to evolve your favorite heroes in timely fashion, you’ll need to invest some time into upgrading your shops.

If you examine a shop’s details, you can see exactly what spices you need to upgrade it. If you have the level unlocked where the spice drops, you can revisit it to earn more spices.
