Can You Use the Kirby Amiibo in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Ever since their release back in 2014, amiibo figures have become a constant in Nintendo’s offerings. The Japanese company is constantly creating new ones that get released together with the biggest Nintendo Switch games not only to give players the chance to get some cool collectibles, but also to let them obtain some exclusive in-game rewards.

Being Nintendo’s latest game, many expected Kirby and the Forgotten Land to release together with new amiibo. While no new figure has been made to celebrate the release of the latest entry in the Kirby series, the game does still support all of the Kirby Amiibo released so far.

Here’s everything you need to know about using the Kirby amiibo in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Can You Use the Kirby Amiibo in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Kirby and the Forgotten Land lets players scan their Kirby series amiibo figures to obtain a variety of in-game rewards. To scan a figure, you need to:

  • Open the main menu with the + button
  • Pick the amiibo option
  • Pick the Use amiibo option
  • Scan your amiibo

Depending on the amiibo you have scanned, you will see different bonuses appear. These are varying amounts of coins and health power-ups. These bonuses are not particularly game-breaking, so feel free to scan your figures as often as possible to get some help for the stage you are playing without making the game too easy.
