Rocket League Sideswipe arrived on IOS and Android in November 2021, bringing the excitement and competitiveness of the original Rocket League game to mobile devices. Choosing between 1v1 Duel or 2v2 Hoops or Doubles matches, players fast-paced gameplay with friends or online. The two teams– Home and Away– are shown in different colour paint jobs, with your own chosen car shown decorated with whatever decal, toppers, wheels, and effects you have chosen. Customizing Your Car in Rocket League Sideswipe
Various items can be used to customize your car in Rocket League Sideswipe. The options include:
- Decals
- Wheels
- Toppers
- Boosts
- Paint
- Goal Explosions
Items and effects can be purchased in the Store or unlocked in the Pass. To add or change anything just visit the Garage. The Garage is available once you have linked your account to your Epic, Google, Nintendo, or console account. This can sometimes give you extra cosmetics and challenges!
Once you are in the Garage you can access the various editing options by tapping on Edit Loadout.

Here you can change the various decals, decor, and effects, including the paint job of the Home and Away team you play for. Unfortunately you cannot assign specific items to a Home or Away team colour, whatever you add is assigned to the car you play. They only part of the decor you can change for your Home or Away is the paint job.
You can choose very specific colouring for your Home and Away teams. The primary and accent colours, metallic colouring, and gloss can all be altered. This gives you a whole range of amazing colours to choose from. Any decals, wheel effects or toppers you add will be assigned to whichever team you are assigned when you enter a game, but your colour will be what you have chosen in the garage.
