Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes a lot of well-established features throughout the Pokémon franchise and turns them on their head!
One of these features removes the option of buying most items that were purchasable in the older games and replaces them with a new system: Crafting.
Crafting Items

Crafting helps players utilize the natural resources they have gathered to make finished products. After completing the initial crafting tutorials, players are given the freedom to craft their items while out on the field. Materials can be gathered out in the field, but to actually craft items, crafting recipes are required.
To craft items on the field, a Crafting Kit is required. Once recipes are acquired, the player simply needs to access the crafting kit and craft the item they need. Alternatively, to craft items from the storage, you’ll need to craft at a Workbench. They are found in Jubilife Village and various base camps around the world.
The actual act of crafting is fairly simple. Highlight the desired item, and if the player has enough resources to do so, the item will be craftable.
How to get Ether
Ether has been one of the rarer items throughout the Pokémon series. One usage of Ether will restore the PP of a Pokémon’s move by 10. Taking this one step further is the Max Ether, which fully restores the PP of the Pokémon’s move!
Of these items, the Max Ether is easily craftable, though the items might take some effort to acquire. To craft a Max Ether, the player will need 1 Apricorn and 1 Sky Tumblestone. While Apricorns are easy enough to acquire, Sky Tumblestones are scattered throughout the Crimson Mirelands. It has a blue coloring to make it easy to identify.

Once these items are acquired, simply follow the crafting process mentioned above and the player will have their selection of Max Ethers!
