Nasty alien bugs have invaded Earth and kidnapped your dog, so now it is time to kick some extraterrestrial butt! Bombastic Brothers is a 2D run and gun shooter that is inspired by classics like Metal Slug and Contra. Shoot your way through tons of levels, with lots of menacing alien bugs to fight! Our Bombastic Brothers cheats and tips will show you how to level up your heroes and get lots of gear!

Complete the daily missions!

Upon reaching player level 3, you will unlock the Daily Missions island, tucked away at the top left corner of the screen. Here you can partake in three missions that are given to you every day. You should try to complete as many missions as you can because they are reward you with player experience, dog tags, military cases, and coins!

Needless to say these are the key to advancing your soldiers, so be sure to do as many as you can. Once you complete a mission, you will have to wait a few hours before you get a new one.

Send your heroes out on assignments!

Upon reaching player level 7, you will unlock the Operation Center. Here you have access to Assignments, which are basically timed missions. You can pick any hero that has the required power level and send them off. Once the allotted time expires, you will earn the rewards, which is usually a new piece of gear. You also get valuable player experience too!

It is important to note that even when a hero is on an assignment, you can still use them as a playable hero during the action levels. So, do not be afraid to use your strongest heroes when filling out assignments.

Stay mobile!

The best way to stay alive in Bombastic Brothers is to simply stay on the move. When enemies fire bullets, they are very obvious and noticeable. They will move towards your original position, so be sure to weave around them.

Keep in mind that you also have a double jump – it is not as high as your regular jump but the extra boost can be enough to get you over a potential hazard.

Upgrade the Training Room!

Your heroes power is limited by their level, and because they do not earn experience on their own, you must use dog tags to level them up. Dog tags will bump up a hero’s level, but at certain intervals they will be limited by the current level of your Training Room.

With a Training Room level 1, heroes can go up to level 5. You will need to upgrade the Training Room to improve them further, so make sure to upgrade it when you get the chance.

Try out all the classes!

Each hero belongs to a certain class in Bombastic Brothers. Jeff is an Assault hero, and Assault heroes are the most balanced in terms of survivability and attack power. Each type of class specializes in a different way of dealing with enemies, so be sure to try them all to see which one is your favorites.

Snipers deal with enemies from afar, while Assassins get up close and possible. Heavys can take a lot of punishment before they go down, and the aforementioned Assaults that are the jacks-of-all-trade. Try them all!
