BitLife – Life Simulator is one of the better and more complex text-based life sims out there. And with so many things to consider and so much randomness (just like in real life), we’re here to help you make the most out of your virtual one by sharing a bunch of BitLife cheats and tips in our complete guide.
The thing is that pretty much everything is random in the game and you can rarely know what will happen next – and up to a degree, you will not be able to anticipate the results of your choices. But eventually, you will start seeing some patterns and, depending on the type of game you want to play, you will know what choices to make.
And we’re here to help you with that, making it easier for you to know what to expect and what choices to make in order to have most fun. So without further ado, here are some BitLife – Life Simulator tips and tricks for you!
There are no action limits per year
The good thing about this game is that you can perform as many actions as you want each year – there are no limits. So if you want to visit the club 100 times in a row, just go for it!
This is useful in some situations, but the bonuses from other activities (like going to the Gym or reading a book) don’t add up, so performing them more than once doesn’t make any sense.
Study hard for better paying jobs
During your younger years, you can select to study hard. That is something that you should do each year in order to increase your chances of getting a scholarship (and not having to take on a student loan) or getting a better job eventually.
Or you can work on your looks and follow the route I took first – which led to an amazing life: become an exotic dancer. I had that position for 58 years, making awesome money and definitely becoming the main attraction of the show after reaching my 50s. Then 60s. Then 70s.
The only problem I had was that they apparently did not contribute to my retirement fund, because once retired, I didn’t receive any more money. Ouch!
The most fun comes from a crazy life
Living your virtual life safe and sound will definitely help you break longevity records, but it won’t be as fun as cheating on your spouse, going out drinking, getting into fights and having all sorts of fun.
In the end, it’s your choice and you can play whatever persona you want to – but give the crazy part of life a try as well if you haven’t, too see the challenges and more of the things that the game has to offer.
The same goes for the other side – try a safe and sound route if you’ve only played the drunken villain. You’ll see the difference!
Always play the lottery
There’s nothing better than winning some tens of millions of dollars and, even though the chances are extremely low in real life, they seem to be a bit higher in the game. I am able to win the lottery every 3-4 games, which is really fun. So don’t forget to buy a ton of tickets each year!
Deal with injury and illness ASAP
As soon as you get sick, make sure to visit a doctor – a REAL doctor – in order to solve your problem. I only visited the Witch Doctor once and he or she game me something strange to eat, resulting in a huge drop in my stats. Real doctors it is ever since!
Why go to the theater?
Going to the theater basically has you watch an ad, but the effects on your character are not that impressive. You will build up the relationship with the person you’re inviting to go to the theater with you, while also getting a bit of a boost yourself. Consider it an extra that you can apply for each year in case you need a stat boost for free.
Keep all your stats in the green
Your main challenge in the game is to keep all your stats in the green for as long as possible. If you do this, you will live a long life and the game itself will be a lot easier.
Don’t risk it with plastic surgeries or anything else as long as things go well. If they start to go downhill and the risks are lower than the potential benefits, try some more extreme ways.
But you can easily keep everything in check if you visit the club often when young, and do all the Mind & Spirit activities each year. Mix in some holidays every now and then and add the visits to the theater when you need them and you should have no trouble keeping all those stats at maximum levels!

As weird as it seems, you need to go to medical school in order to get the pilot trainee job. I don’t know if there are other ways, but this worked for me and for a friend
And I was able to become an actor after going to law school.

I’m currently 110 years old and very health, beautiful, smart, and happy.
Also SPEND TIME WITH YOUR PARENTS! This is important if you want to be rich. Having a good relationship with you parents will allow you to inherit their money when they pass.
Marry the old rich people, they die and you get all their inheritance. You have to marry them though. Yes, it will drop your happiness but I have found if you then go on holiday, do the mind and body activities, spend time with children or parents or find a date or a hook up your happiness will increase quickly.
I can’t get past 101 years old… even with perfect stats, I “die peacefully in my sleep”. Any advice or help?
definitely do colon hydrotherapy and acupuncture at older ages (maybe 80 or 90+), they help with health a ton. There’s also the gym option tho I’ve managed to reach 120 barely going to the gym

Ummm how do you save your people because every time I make a different person the old person deletes so how do I save them from deleting. But if they automatically save how do I find them because I don’t know where they are.
You can’t save them, unfortunately. You can save their funeral stone after they die, but apart from that, you can’t save multiple lives and switch between playing one or another.
