Early Life

It’s time to become a popular gamer on YouTube! Start your life as a male baby in Sweden, the birth country of Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, or as you probably know him as, Pewdiepie!

One caveat to this challenge is that it helps a lot to become famous during your later years, so when you’re growing up make sure to be nice to your friends and family – you don’t want to burn any bridges.

As soon as you turn 13, you’ll be able to create a YouTube account. Do so and start uploading gaming videos every year but be careful not to overdo it – we’ve noticed that if you upload multiple videos in the same year, you’ll get fewer followers for it.

Try to alternate between uploading gaming videos and BitLife videos. BitLife videos are still considered to be gaming videos, so it’ll count towards the second objective for the challenge. There seems to be some sort of “diminishing returns” on video uploading – that is to say, the more you upload the same kind of video, the less return you’ll see on it. Alternating video types seems to refresh this mechanic.

Making Money and Going Viral

You might have a little trouble gaining subscribers at first. You can try to buy subscribers, but this runs you the risk of getting banned by YouTube. If this happens you’ll have to appeal your account, and it seems to be completely random whether you’re successful.

For now, just try to focus on getting one of your videos to go viral. This is also random, but it helps to do the alternating trick we mentioned above. A video seems more likely to go viral if it gets you more subscribers.

Now, here comes a tricky part. After you’ve gotten at least one video to go viral, it’s time to become famous. The reason for this is that fame gets you a lot more subscribers when you post videos. Choose any route you want for this – famous author, model, etc. – and work hard until you get famous.

Now that you’re famous, your videos will gain a huge boost in popularity. You should have the other objectives cleared by now – all you need to do is get 10 million subscribers. Keep alternating videos and make sure to age up a year after a couple of videos. With enough resilience you’ll be able to hit 10 million subscribers and complete the challenge!
