Krafton Games is gearing up for the next big BGMI update, called Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.8.5 February update. As per the official patch notes, the patch will bring a bunch of exciting content to the table, including a new map, gameplay mode, and a few voice packs.
As the name suggests, the BGMI 1.8.5 February update will be released this month, and it will be an in-game patch. Hence, players must download the update by launching Battlegrounds Mobile India instead of heading to the Google Play Store. With that said, let’s look at the new features coming in the next update.
BGMI 1.8.5 February Update Patch Notes
Jujutsu Kaisen Theme mode
Jujutsu Kaisen Theme is a brand new mode that can be played in the Ranked matching section soon. Players can interchange the mode and classic Erangel and livik mode by clicking on the arrow icon present at the right bottom side of the map. There will be four characters of Jujutsu Kaisen in the gameplay lobby, and players can interact with them there.
Santorini Arena map
A new 8-on-8 Santorini Arena map is coming to BGMI. The Santorini map is inspired by Santorini island, popular for white buildings with blue rooftops. The map has an extensive area and diverse routes.
New voice packs
New quick chat voice packs of BGMI partners, namely Kaztro and Snax are also coming in late February. However, the official date has not been announced, players can expect the voice packs to release in the last week of February 2022.
