One of these new items is the Snowball. Now, Snowball has previously existed in Pokemon games, being introduced from Generation VI, but the way that the item works has completely changed, to fit the style of gameplay in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

If you want to know all about the Snowball item and where to farm them, then this is the guide for you. Just read on ahead!

Best Way to Farm Snowballs in Pokemon Legends Arceus

First, let’s talk about the different places that you can farm Snowballs at. Well, here’s the thing: you can only find and farm Snowballs at one place in the entirety of Hisui, as they are only found in Alabaster Icelands.

You’ll need to find random piles of snow that spawn across the area. Once you locate one, you’ll have to summon a Pokemn to destroy the snow pile. There are various drops that you can receive from snow piles, and not just Snowballs. Here are all of them:

  • Snowball: 87% drop rate
  • Ball of Mud: 10% drop rate
  • Ice Stone: 2% drop rate
  • Stardust: 1% drop rate

One thing to note is that Snowballs and Ball of Mud function in the same way: they let you stun Pokemon when in an encounter with them. So if they’re practically the same item, you actually have a 97% chance to get what you want, which is either a Snowball or its identical clone, the Ball of Mud.
