How to Create the Best Paladin Build in Ragnarok Origin

Since you have completed the tutorial and learned some basic skills as an adventurer, and ready to choose your path. This is a big decision and your choice really depends on your personal play style and if you prefer to play solo or with friends (or both!) If you are hoping to become a Crusader and the Paladin, we have skill build suggestions you will want to try.

Paladin Best Build

The Swordsman is your first job and you will be the team’s protector, their tank role, and a melee fighter. As you level up you have chosen the second job of Crusader and then finally Paladin. There are different stats builds you could choose for your Paladin, depending on what sort of role you want them to have:

• Sacrifice Build: Focus your stats heavily on AGI and VIT so you can boost HP and damage resist. Perfect for grinding!
• Tank Build: Stats should be mostly VIT and INT for HP and Magic boosts.
• Shield Build: DEX and STR are your best choices here for stats for reducing casting time and bumping strength.

Paladin Skill Build

You will need to distribute at least 40 Skill Points in each job before moving onto the next. More points can be spent wherever you want them but we have the important skills laid out below. You can choose different builds to create presets, and name then whatever you like.

We recommend the following skill chains for each of your chosen builds:

• Sacrifice Build:
  • Job 1: Sword Series > Increase HP plus Provoke > Endure
  • Job 2: Riding > Cavalier Mastery plus Shield Charge and Belief > Divine Will > Auto Defense and Spear Mastery and Protection
  • Job 3: Tenacity, Reflect Shield, Defender, Gospel, Spear Quicken > Sacrifice

• Shield Build:
  • Job 1: Bash > Magnum Break > Provoke > Endure plus Increase HP
  • Job 2: Shield Charge > Shield Boomerang plus Demon Bane > Holy Cross > Grand Cross plus Thorny Buckler and Protection
  • Job 3: Shield Chain, Pressure, Gospel, Tenacity

• Tank Build:
  • Job 1: Bash > Magnum Break > Provoke > Endure plus Increase HP
  • Job 2: Riding > Cavalier Mastery then Shield Charge plus Belief > Divine Will > Auto-Defense. Also Protection.
  • Job 3: Tenacity, Dedication, Reflect Shield, Gospel, Defender

How to level up in Ragnarok Origin

Get more Attribute Points to spend on stats by levelling up as much as possible. You can level up quickly by doing any and all of the following:

• Quests: do any of your Daily Quests that reward you with EXP, take part in Story Quests, Side Quests and Adventure Quests as they award EXP even when you are fatigued.
• AFK Grinding: grind until your Combat Time has run out to earn EXP. This could be done before doing some of the questing as your character will be fatigued after hours of grinding but still available to do some side quests.
