Best Aspects for Sorcerer in Diablo 4

Get our top picks for the best aspects for Sorcerer in Diablo 4 and crank up your power with this handy guide.

Aspects in Diablo 4 are a great addition to any build, regardless of the class you pick, and can make a real difference in some dodgy situations where your life hangs by a thread. If you decide to play as a Sorcerer, they can be even more important, because they represent a great opportunity to balance out some defense and offense stats if your build ends up leaning more towards one side.

I started experimenting with aspects a bit late (mid-game), because I was focusing so much on side quests and leveling up before I dared enter most dungeons that give you these valuable items. You can probably tell by now that I’m playing Diablo 4 solo. However, once I tapped into the power of aspects, I haven’t looked back. Therefore, without further ado, I give you my top list of the best aspects for a lightning-based Sorcerer in Diablo 4.

Each class in Diablo 4 has its own specific aspects that provide useful buffs for their unique sets of skills and abilities, but there are some great general aspects as well. I have compiled an overview of both types of aspects that I found the most helpful while playing as a Sorcerer in the table below:

Aspect Info Location
Aspect of Efficiency (Sorcerer only) Reduces the Mana cost of your next Core Skill by 10% after casting a Basic Skill Domhainne Tunnels
Aspect of Control (Sorcerer only) Immobilized, Stunned, or Frozen enemies get 30% more damage Sunken Library
Recharging Aspect (Sorcerer only) You get Mana every time Chain Lightning bounces off you The Zenith Dungeon
Incendiary Aspect (Sorcerer only) Burning Damage has a 5% chance of restoring 10 Mana Tomb of the Saints
Aspect of the Bounding Conduit (Sorcerer only) Increases movement speed by 20% for 5 seconds after Teleporting Komdor Temple
Aspect of the Expectant (General) Increases the damage of the subsequent Core Skills by 5-50% after casting Basic Skill Underroot
Aspect of the Protector (General) If you damage an Elite, a damage-absorbing Barrier appears for 10 seconds (can occur once every 30 seconds) Lost Archives
Aspect of Disobedience (General) You get up to 25% increased Armor for 4 seconds when you deal any form of damage Halls of the Damned
Edgemaster’s Aspect (General) You deal up to 24% increased damage with all skills based on the amount of your Primary Resource when cast Oldstones
Aspect of Inner Calm (General) Your attacks deal 3% increased damage for each second you stand still (stacks up to 30%) Raethwind Wilds

Of course, this list is quite relative, and the aspects I chose made the most sense with my lightning-based build. If you’re playing as an ice- or fire-based Sorcerer, your picks will probably be at least somewhat different. The most important thing when choosing which aspects to get and imprint in your gear is to base your decisions on your playing style and the stats you’re pushing.
