The main attraction for many players of Pokemon Go is to catch ’em all! Filling up the Pokedex with every type of Pokemon available is the absolute dream for a lot of fans, and to do this is not an easy task. Pokemon spawn in different areas, under varying weather conditions, and at different times of day. These cycles of night and day should not be overlooked, as they can have a real effect on which Pokemon can be discovered in an area near you. Not all Pokemon care about the time of day, but many do—check out our guide below for more information about these day/night Pokemon spawns.
Day and Night Spawning Pokemon
According to dedicated researchers, there are 79 Pokemon affected by the time of day. They are either more common during the day or prefer to come out at night. Some Pokemon were recorded as being exclusively night-time spawning such as Shuppet, while Solrock was found exclusively during the day. Others tended to just be more likely to spawn at night, but could still be discovered during the day, only more rarely. The list below is a rough guide on which Pokemon you could find during certain times of the day.
