Look for another lane!
If Arami is having trouble moving towards the goal line in her current lane, why not try another one? Remember that you can direct her any time you wish, so if you’ve got a particularly clunky lane that has no matching pieces, just move to another lane that has better matches. It’s easy to forget that you have this ability because this is another match-3 puzzle game, but it’s incredibly helpful so keep it in mind!
Grab the flowers!
Thankfully it’s a little easier to get the “stars” in this game. The stars in Arami Puzzventure are actually flowers, and they’re lying around the board. Try to collect them all as you’ll need them to unlock future episodes. All you need to do is simply match pieces next to the flowers and they will auto collect. If you’re ever lost on the board and can’t find them, tap the map icon at the bottom right to open up the board map. It’ll highlight important pieces like flowers and objectives.
Pull in new pieces!
It’s very important to note that Arami isn’t the only thing that’s controlled by the arrows! The direction you have currently active is the same direction new pieces will fall in from when there’s space on the board. For example, if Arami to the right and you make a match, the non-matching pieces will fall towards the right, and if there’s space new ones will fall in from the left side.
It’s a bit confusing at first but once you see in action a couple of times you’ll get the hang of it. Mastering this mechanic is key to getting yourself out of tricky situations. Even if Arami is nowhere near an objective, you can still get them with some smart maneuvering.
Make the special pieces!
As per the norm, you can create special pieces by matching 4 or more pieces all at once. In Arami Puzzventure these special pieces are incredibly helpful, even moreso than the typical match-3 puzzle game due to how it’s designed. Line blasters are really useful for reaching those far off flowers or objectives. Bombs are good for clearing out groups of mismatched pieces, and the firecrackers are just good for anything! Do your best to make as many special pieces as possible!
Keep an eye on Arami!
The farther you get in the game, the more obstacles and dangers Arami will face. Eventually you’ll start to run into trap spots. If you let Arami fall into one of these, she’ll get sent back to the original spawn point of the level. You don’t need to actively watch Arami all the time, but just always be aware of where she is and what direction she’s currently facing.
