Angry Birds Transformers Announced, Launching Later This Year

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

It looks like there isn’t an end to the Angry Birds games. Rovio’s franchise has become so successful that it would really be strange for the team to abandon it. Luckily most of the games are well developed titles so it’s really impossible to complain, especially if you’re a fan of the series.

Another Angry Birds game has now been announced, a game that will be released later this year on the App Store. Angry Birds Transformers will mash together the Angry Birds universe with the Transformers world, something that should bring some really interesting gameplay features. Unfortunately pretty much nothing is currently known about this game so everything is up to speculation at this point.

Rovio has also confirmed that a new line of Telepod toys will be released together with Angry Birds Transformers. The toys will work as they did with the other games that support them like Angry Birds: Star Wars and Angry Birds Go.

More on Angry Birds Transformers will come in the next few weeks so stay tuned for all the latest updates. In the meantime, you can check out the recently release role playing game based on the series, Angry Birds Epic. If you’re playing the game and need more friends for it, you can check out Angry Birds Epic guide to see how to add them.
