Angry Birds Go! New Update Introduces Local Multiplayer Mode

Angry Birds GO!, the racing game based on the Angry Birds developed by Rovio now available on the App Store, has received a new update earlier today which introduces a new multiplayer mode.

The new update, which is currently available in all regions, adds a local multiplayer mode to the game, which allows players to race with others who are on the same Wi-Fi network. In order to set up races comfortably, the new update also includes a new Party Mode.

Today’s Angry Birds GO! multiplayer update is the second update released for the game introducing multiplayer modes. Another update released last year for the game added online multiplayer modes, which allowed players to race against other Facebook friends. The multiplayer modes of the game do manage to improve the experience slightly, an experience that’s overall damaged by the free to play features making the game way too much grindy.
