League of Legends is a massive game that features over 140 different Champions, so it is pretty much impossible for any media based on the popular MOBA to feature all of them.
Despite role-playing games being among the type of games that can include a lot of different characters, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story doesn’t feature many of the Champions seen in League of Legends. It is undeniable, however, that developer Airship Syndicate made some great picks, as their choices allowed for some very interesting interactions that never happened before.
Here are all of the Champions included in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story
All Champions in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story features six playable Champions that come with some very unique abilities that determine their role in combat. These six Champions are:
- Miss Fortune
- Illaoi
- Braum
- Yasuo
- Pyke
- Ahri
Having any of these Champions as your on-screen character will also change the abilities you can use to further explore locations and engage the enemy. Pyke, for example, can use his weapon to bring an enemy closer, while Miss Fortune can use an improved version of the Scan ability that can highlight footprints or other things that other characters cannot see.
All Non-Playable Champions in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story
While these six Champions are the starts of the show in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, the game features a few other Champions as NPCs. These are:
- Gangplank
- Gwen
- Hecarim
- Jarvan IV
- Maokai
- Olaf
- Tahm Kench
- Thresh
- Viego
- Volibear
And these are all the Champions found in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. It may be a small number, considering how many of them are in League of Legends, but the way they have been developed and the way they interact with one another more than make up for their small number!
