The Ace Attorney series is finally back on the App Store with the release of the latest entry of the series, which has been originally released on Nintendo 3DS last year in the West.
Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies is now available for download on the App Store in the West. The first episode of the game is free while all the others must be bought separately. There’s also a really convenient pack that allows gamers to get all the episodes making up the game for a reduced price.
Compared to the 3DS release of the game, Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies doesn’t look all that different. The iOS port obviously comes with improved HD graphics and a single screen layout, which doesn’t alter the gameplay experience too much. If you have had the pleasure of playing the Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD, you already have a pretty good idea on how the game plays.
Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies does indeed feature the same gameplay experience of the rest of the series, with a few new features that make it even more engagin. Unfortunately the story and characters are not on the same level as the previous games, being not as memorable.
Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies is now available for download on the App Store. The first episode is available for free so make sure to download it if you have never played a game of the series. All the other episodes can be purchased as IAPs of the free episode.
