This new SNK sale is meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Neo Geo console, which was the only way to play perfect rendition of SNK arcade games such as the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series at home without having to purchase expansive arcade machines. Not that the Neo Geo was that much less expensive: it was always marketed as gaming console for hardcore gamers and its high price has always reflected this.

The currently discounted titles part of the Neo Geo 25th anniversary sale, which are all available for $0.99, are:

  • Fatal Fury Special
    Garou: Mark Of The Wolves
    The King Of Fighters-i
    The King Of Fighters-i 2012
    The King Of Fighters ’97
    The King Of Fighters ’98
    Samurai Shodown 2
    Metal Slug 1
    Metal Slug 2
    Metal Slug X
    Metal Slug 3
    Blazing Star

The free to play unique rhythm game The Rhythm of Fighters is also benefiting from this sale, as all the extra content for it is now available for $0.99.

The Neo Geo 25th anniversary sale won’t be available for much longer so make sure to take advantage of it as soon as possible if you have yet to play some of these excellent arcade games.
