The strategy game, which can now be purchased for only $4.99 instead of $12.99, is part of a big 2K Games sale which is also offering other titles from the publisher for reduced prices such as BioShock, Civilization Revolution 2 and more.

XCOM: Enemy Within is the expansion of XCOM: Enemy Unknown but it doesn’t require the original game to be played. The game plays pretty much like XCOM: Enemy Unknown, with players having to defend the planet from an alien invasion by fighting creatures from outer space in turn based battles. XCOM: Enemy Within expands this gameplay experience with new maps, new weapons, new enemy types and more. The multiplayer portion of the game has also been expanded with new maps, units and abilities.

XCOM: Enemy Within is now available for a reduced price on the App Store. The game won’t be available for a reduced price for much longer so make sure to take advantage of this deal as soon as possible if you’re interested in it.
