DOOM And DOOM II Updated On iOS, Android; Bethesda Account No Longer Needed

The classic first person shooters DOOM and DOOM II have been updated on iOS and Android, removing some requirements that most players found extremely annoying.

The new update, which lacks full notes, removes the Bethesda.net account requirement for both games. The login screen is still included, but players can opt to skip and enjoy the games without logging in.

While this is definitely good news, it would have been better to have an option to skip the process altogether. The Nintendo Switch version of both games has yet to be updated in the same manner, so mobile users should definitely be happy they haven’t been left last.

Aside from this issue, both DOOM and DOOM II work extremely nice on mobile, allowing players to experience two classic FPS on the go with touch controls.

DOOM and DOOM II are now out on iOS, Android.
