Grab Lab Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide

Grab Lab is simple enough for all ages to enjoy, but some levels get tough. Let’s get started with our Grab Lab cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Pay attention to your destination!

The most important rule to keep in mind in Grab Lab is the direction switching. Every time you grapple up to the platform above you, your hero will begin to walk in the opposite direction from where you were initially.

While this seems like a no-brainer, you might end up walking straight into a hazard sometimes because of this. Always look before you grab! Pay attention to your landing zone and be careful of any obstacles in the way.

Create new heroes!

You can use the vials you have accumulated in the hero mixer machine! If you do not know which heroes to combine, simply take a look at the recipe list. You can probably figure out a hero by their silhouette, and if that is not clear enough you can simply look at your hero list. Compatible heroes will be highlighted, while incompatible ones will be grayed out.

Keep in mind that, gameplay wise, there is no difference between the heroes. Creating new heroes is simply for fun and if you want to play in style as your favorite wacky hero!

Grab the golden bolts!

Golden bolts are tucked away in certain levels. You do not need to collect them to pass the level, but you DO need them to unlock new worlds. If you reach the end of your current world and you do not have enough golden bolts, you will need to backtrack and find them! You should try to grab them on your first run through a level to make it easier for yourself.

Do note that levels end as soon as you grab the last vial, so if you are trying to get the golden bolt make sure you do that first before you collect all of the vials.

Grapple in place to stall!

Starting in World 2, the game will introduce new hazards that require you to move across them at the right time. Since you cannot really control how fast you move across the levels, you will need to take advantage of stalling.

This technique is done by repeatedly grappling in the same place, so you basically go back and forth on the same platform. This essentially keeps you in place while making sure that you buy yourself enough time to cross whatever hazard in one piece.
