In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can not only enjoy everyday life but also complete many different fun quests. All quests you will receive from various characters. And if you want to improve your cooking skills, you must complete quests for Chef Remy. Once you reach level 10 friendship with him, you can start The Unknown Flavor quest.

Remy will ask you to help him prepare a recipe. But for this, you need to get a special ingredient. Therefore, you should contact Merlin to advise you to use Purified Night Shards. You can craft them with 1 Dream Shard and 5 Night Shards.

After you make three Purified Night Shards, you will need to crush them. To do this, go to Wall-E, and he will be happy to help you. Then head to Frozen Heights and get 15 Snowflakes.

After collecting all the resources, you can craft Slush Ice on the workbench. Take Slush Ice to Remy, and he will ask you to make Vanilla Ice Cream. And here is the list of required ingredients:

Sugarcane
Vanilla
Slush Ice
Milk

The last two ingredients are available from the Chez Remy pantry. After collecting all the ingredients and preparing Vanilla Ice Cream, take the dessert to Remy to complete the quest. And as a reward, you will receive a Kitchen Shelf.
