Terraria is a game that you will never get bored of. It will always make you go somewhere, mine something, explore, and more. With this constant dynamic game, it has won millions of hearts. In our guide, we will tell you what the Torch God is in Terraria.
What is The Torch God in Terraria?
The God of Torches is an exclusive event that can be triggered by collecting torches anywhere underground. In this case, you need to dodge fire projectiles flying at the player. Those who pass the test are rewarded with the “Torch of God’s Grace,” an item that allows the player to place a normal torch in any biome, and it will automatically transform into a torch of the biome in which it is located.

Tip: Make sure torches placed in other biomes match the type of biome they are in, as this will positively affect the player’s luck.
Conditions under which this event occurs:
- Place 101 or more torches below the surface layer in any biome.
- Sometimes the event can start without placing 101 torches underground. The calculation of the game may incorrectly count the torches several times.
When the event starts, the god of torches begins to send projectiles directly at the player, one projectile per torch. They fire in turns at a rate of 3 torches per second. Fire projectiles deal 40/80/120 base damage and through blocks deal damage to the player. At the same time, throughout this event, the “Blackout” debuff will be applied to you.
The Torch God event ends as soon as all torches go out. The maximum number of attacks reaches 200, and the player is awarded the “Torch of God’s Grace.” All torches are lit again when the event ends. If the player dies or leaves the area, the event ends early and nothing is awarded.
