How to Complete the Lighting the Way Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V
The Lighting the Way sidequest can be started by speaking with the Jack-o’-Lantern that can be found near the Ginza Leyline Fount. You can find the exact location on the map below.
The Jack-o’-Lantern is looking for 2 Fire Gems, and asks you to bring them to him. These items can be found as enemy drops, by digging in spots found by Quest Navigators, or inside Treasure Boxes. As you can see, thet are quite common, so it is extremely likely you have a few of them on hadn already when you reach the Chiyoda ward for the first time. They can also be bought with Macca later in the game, something that makes completing this sidequest even easier.
Once you have 2 Fire Gems, bring them to the Jack-o’-Lanterns to complete the quest. You will get 1 Chakra Drop and 9,000 EXP points as reward. You can also get an additional Chakra Drop every time you bring 2 Fire Gems to the demon.
