Puzzle Game Star Trek – Wrath of Gems Now Available On The App Store

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Star Trek – Wrath of Gems has to be one of the more surprising video games based on the popular Star Trek series series ever made. How many expected to see a match three puzzle game based on the series? Very few, I’m sure.

Star Trek – Wrath of Gems follows the stories of the original series and Star Trek The Next Generation so you will be fighting plenty of enemy ships and aliens, only that you will do so by combining three or more gems. Each gem type corresponds to an offensive or defense action like many other recent match three puzzle games so the game isn’t exactly innovative. Star Trek – Wrath of Gems also features an upgrade system which allows players to improve their spaceship as well as a recruitment system which allows players to get new crew members, yet more features that have been present in pretty much all recent match three puzzle games coming with role playing games features.

Star Trek – Wrath of Gems is now available for free on the App Store. The game isn’t exactly the most original puzzle game around but fans of the Star Trek series will certainly like it as it features stories and characters from the franchise.
