Can You Catch Heatran in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
The simple answer would be: yes. Heatran is available for you to encounter and capture in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. But it isn’t just that straightforward.
In order to catch Heatran, your first requirement would be to complete the game. Yes, it’s quite a big task, but just like in the original Generation IV games, Heatran is locked away to the post-game of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, along with a bunch of other Legendary Pokemon.
Once you’ve beaten the game, you will need to speak to the NPC Cogita in the Ancient Retreat. You will see a large list of research tasks that you can take on. The one that we are looking for is Mission 22: The Plate of Firespit Island.
Once you’ve chosen Mission 22, make your way to Cobalt Coastlands and into Firespit Islands that is located in the eastern section of the map. You will notice warden Iscan and Irida near the entrance. Speak to them and enter the cave to encounter Heatran and engage in battle with it, and finally get the chance to capture it!
