Unique Puzzle / Platform Game I Am Bread Now Available On The App Store

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Bossa Studios is a team that’s known for some really wacky games like Surgeon Simulator and other less wacky but not less unique like Thomas Was Alone. With their new game, I Am Bread, the team has definitely gone beyond anything they have ever done before, offering a game that’s so unusual that it’s even hard to describe at times.

In I Am Bread players will take control of a slice of bread and will have to reach the toaster by moving across the kitchen. Things are way more complicated that it may seem like, as the slice of bread has very limited movement options and it doesn’t take much to fall off surfaces. Players will have to be very careful when moving around, since any wrong move will decrease the bread’s edibility and once it has reached zero, it’s game over.

With I Am Bread, Bossa Studios has shown how the team is capable of taking advantage of a truly unusual setting to create a unique gameplay experience. I Am Bread may not be a game for everyone but there’s no denying that it’s one of the more unique games released this year on the App Store.

I Am Bread is now available for purchase on the App Store for $4.99.
