Bear Winter, developed by Nevercenter, is a survival puzzle game. Players will have to survive a harsh winter in Russia as long as possible by getting warm with fire, gathering arrows and acorns and more.

The main goal of the game is to avoid getting attacked by bears and always keep warm. Bears will attack you if you fail to match the three bear icons and you will lose if attacked repeatedly. Matters are made even more complicated by the fact that you also need to stay warm, forcing you to match the three fire icons every now and then. Failing to do so will result in your untimely death. Arrows and acorns can be used to defeat all bears currently on the board and restore health so it’s possible to survive by thinking ahead and taking advantage of the position of the icons on the board.

Bear Winter is definitely one of the more challenging match-3 puzzle games currently available on the App Store. The survival elements add quite a bit of depth to the gameplay experience so make sure to download it if you’re looking for a challenging game to play on the go.
