1. Shoot down those UFOs!

Occasionally you’ll see a red warning bleep on your screen. That’s a UFO! It’s come to crash to party, and we obviously can’t let that happen! Rotate your planet in the direction the warning is pointing in to find the UFO. Tap it to destroy it. You want to do this as often as you can, as UFOs will drop building efficiency, and sometimes even gems! You’ll also sometimes get quests to destroy a certain amount of UFOs. Be quick about it, UFOs don’t hang around for long!

2. Upgrade the recorder!

If you plan on not “actively” playing this game too much, then you might want to invest a lot of building efficiency into the recorder. The recorder generates notes for you when you’re not tapping to the awesome beat. Keep in mind that there’s a limit to how much it can generate, depending on how much it’s been upgraded. Check back every now and then to collect your earnings!

3. Double the tap multiplier!

When you get a chance random reward, you might get a beat multiplier. This automatically increases your tap beat multiplier by a large amount for twenty seconds. If you watch an advertisement right when you get it, you can double the multiplier! Don’t waste this chance; make sure to start tapping right away!

4. Upgrade your buildings!

Under your total notes, you’ll see a red number /s. This is your “building efficiency”, that is, how many notes your buildings are generate per second. You want this to be as high as possible, and the main way to accomplish that is to upgrade your buildings. For every building you have, your building efficiency goes up by a certain amount. You can check how much each type of building gives by looking next to it in the building menu. Upgrade everything equally to keep your building efficiency high!

5. Complete the quests!

Above your total note count is a quest bar. You will always have a quest active, and they will ask you to collect a certain amount of notes, take down a certain amount of UFOs, and other objectives such as those. Be sure to do these as you see them, as they’ll reward you with notes, gems, and other goodies.

6. Don’t tap rapidly!

With other “idle” games, you might be tempted to just mindlessly hammer away at your touch screen, but resist! You can do so if you want to, but you’ll be missing out on so much more. When you tap to the beat, you’ll get a note multiplier based on how well you’re doing. If you don’t miss a single beat, your combo multiplier will continue to rise and it has no limit! This means that you can get ludicrous amounts of notes if you put the time into it. Once you’re at the x300 range, you’ll be racking in the dough. If you just tap as fast as you can, you won’t get any multipliers.

That’s all for Groove Planet. This beat ain’t finished yet though, so if you have any other tips or tricks to share, leave a comment below!
