While being quite popular, the Digimon series has never manage the same level of success of the Pokèmon series. The latest title inspired by the Digimon series is now available in soft-launch mode on the New Zealand App Store and it should be released all over the world soon enough.

Digimon Heroes! is a match-3 card battle game where players will be able to choose from over 1000 Digimon tpo create their teams. It’s also possible to fuse monsters together so unlock more powerful forms, something that shouldn’t surprise fans of the series. To expand the monster selection to improve the team, players will also be able to purchase boosts through IAPs.

Everything considering, it looks like Digimon Heroes! doesn’t play all that differently from many other card battler games currently available on the App Store. As the game is still in soft-launch mode, we should expect some of its features to be different when it’s released for good in all regions.

Digimon Heroes! is now available on the New Zealand App Store. More news on the final release of the game should be coming in soon so stay tuned for all the latest news.
