Badland Receives New Update, Level Editor Added

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Last month it’s been revealed that the platform game developed by Frogmind Games, Badland, was going to receive yet another update introducing a really interesting feature. Instead of adding more levels to the game, the new Badland update is actually going to allow players to create their own stages.

As if to try to ride the wave of Super Mario Maker, a new Nintendo Wii U game releasing today which allows players to create their own Super Mario stages, the team has released today the new Badland update including the announced level editor. If you’re itching to create levels for the game, you can finally do so by downloading the latest update.

The Badland level editor isn’t the one used by the team to create the game’s stages but a streamlined version that will allow all to understand all its features and use it properly. The stage sharing system also seems really well done, with sections including best rated and most played stages.

Badland is now available for download on the App Store. The new update is also available for download right now so make sure to download it as soon as possible if you’re in a creative mood.
